These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, the purchase of products from us and the use of our 3D printing, CAD design and related services.

By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, accepting a quotation or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or remove any rights that you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) or any other applicable South African law.

  • Purchase 3D printing filament and related products

  • Request quotations

  • Enquire about 3D printing services

  • Submit files for 3D printing or CAD services

  • Create and manage a customer account

  • Contact RAS3DPRINT

You agree not to use our website:

  • For unlawful purposes

  • To interfere with the operation or security of the website

  • To submit false or fraudulent information

  • To attempt unauthorised access to our systems or customer accounts

  • To upload malicious software or harmful files

  • To infringe the intellectual property rights of another person

We reserve the right to restrict access to the website where we reasonably believe it is being misused.

3. Products

RAS3DPRINT sells products including, but not limited to:

  • 3D printing filament

  • 3D printing materials

  • 3D printing accessories

  • 3D printed products

  • Related products and equipment

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.

However, minor differences may occur between photographs and the actual product.

Product colours may also appear differently depending on:

  • Screen settings

  • Lighting

  • Product batches

  • Manufacturing variations

  • Filament production batches

Where a manufacturer's specification applies to a product, that manufacturer's specifications and tolerances may also apply.

4. Filament

​

Different 3D printers, slicers and printing environments can produce different results using the same filament.

Successful printing may depend on factors including:

  • Printer condition

  • Printer calibration

  • Nozzle size

  • Nozzle temperature

  • Bed temperature

  • Print speed

  • Cooling

  • Slicer settings

  • Filament storage

  • Moisture levels

  • Printer enclosure temperature

  • Build surface

  • User experience

RAS3DPRINT cannot guarantee that every filament will produce identical results on every 3D printer.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the filament type purchased is suitable for their printer and intended application.

This does not affect your rights if the filament itself is defective or otherwise fails to meet the standards required by applicable law.

5. Product Availability

​

All products are subject to availability.

Although our website may show a product as available, stock quantities can occasionally change before an order is processed.

If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed and paid for an order, we will contact you and may offer:

  • An alternative product, with your agreement

  • A revised expected availability date

  • A refund for the unavailable product

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

6. Prices

​

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise indicated.

The final amount payable will be displayed during checkout and may include:

  • Product charges

  • Applicable taxes

  • Delivery charges

  • Other charges disclosed before checkout

We reserve the right to change prices at any time before an order is placed.

A price change will not normally affect an order that has already been validly concluded and paid for, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

7. Pricing and Website Errors

​

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices and product information are accurate.

However, genuine typographical, technical or system errors may occasionally occur.

Where an obvious error occurs, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible.

The matter will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African consumer law.

We will not intentionally advertise products at misleading prices.

8. Orders

​

When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that:

  • The products selected are correct

  • Quantities are correct

  • Billing information is correct

  • Delivery information is complete and accurate

  • Contact details are correct

You will be given an opportunity through the checkout process to review your order before completing the transaction.

An automated order confirmation confirms that we have received your order.

Orders remain subject to product availability, successful payment and any applicable fraud or security checks.

If we cannot fulfil an order, we will notify you and process any refund that is legally due.

9. Payment

​

Orders must be paid using one of the payment methods made available on our website.

Payments may be processed through independent third-party payment providers.

RAS3DPRINT does not normally receive or store your complete debit or credit card details.

Your payment provider may apply its own:

  • Terms and conditions

  • Security procedures

  • Privacy policy

  • Transaction requirements

An order may not be dispatched or manufacturing may not begin until payment has been successfully confirmed.

10. Fraud Prevention

​

We reserve the right to verify an order where we reasonably suspect:

  • Fraud

  • Unauthorised payment

  • Incorrect customer information

  • Suspicious account activity

We may temporarily place the order on hold while reasonable verification takes place.

Where fraud or unlawful activity is reasonably suspected, we may also report the matter to the appropriate authorities or payment service provider.

11. 3D Printing Services

​

RAS3DPRINT provides custom 3D printing services.

Customers may submit:

  • STL files

  • STEP files

  • CAD files

  • Drawings

  • Dimensions

  • Photographs

  • Samples

  • Other technical information

A quotation may be provided based on the information supplied by the customer.

The customer is responsible for carefully checking the quotation and confirming that the specifications are correct
